Echo1 Master Series MP5A4
The Echo1 Master Series MP5A4 is the newest AEG in the MP5 line from Echo1. The Master Series MP5s feature full metal construction, precisely machined RIS unit, and two gearboxes. Now, for the first time in a complete package, you can get an airsoft gun that is ideal for both outdoors and CQB games, with interchangeable high and low powered gearboxes included.
The Echo1 Master Series MP5A4's quality begins to be apparent as soon as you heft it. At 6.5 pounds, it is slightly heavier than a B&T MP5. The finish on the metal body is superb; it is much nicer than previous Echo1 MP5s, and on par with high-end AEG manufacturers. Echo1 has also redesigned the hop-up and body in the Master Series MP5s. When the charging handle is pulled back it opens the fake bolt, which reveals the hop-up adjustment. The charging handle can be 'slapped' with no worry of breaking it, since the front tube has been designed with this in mind.
The RIS unit on the Master Series MP5 is nicely machined, with numbered markings denoting rail locations. The Navy style QD flashhider is constructed of metal, and snaps into place solidy. Pre-mounted on the upper receiver is a newly designed low profile scope mount which will mount any optic, from an Aimpoint or an EOTech to a longer scope.
Internally, this airsoft MP5 does not dissapoint, with 7mm metal bushings and metal ball bearing spring guides in both gearboxes. The indoor gearbox shoots at 350fps, and the outdoor one shoots 400fps. Swapping gearboxes is simple, with quick takedown receiver pins. Battery power for the Echo1 Master Series MP5A4 is housed in the fixed stock.
