Jing Gong M16A2

Decided to get rid of my TM M16 about a year ago and decided to go try something else. Looked at some gas snipers, some G36s, AKs, and still loved the looks of the M16. Found the Jing Gong M16 on Airsplat for $114. 360fps with .2s stock? Sounds good. Supposedly mostly metal. So I decided to order it. Airsplat did a great job of getting it sent quickly. Got it in 3 days. (They ship out of Los Angeles) Was greeted at the door with a nice big box saying W16-2 Electric Rifle Advanced Model. W16-2?

Took it out of the box and held it. Damn I got a good deal! Only $114! The gun weighs 7lbs. If you put a JG M16 and a TM M16 the only difference you could tell would be the trades.

Externals
Great looking! Not a metal receiver but it is the same material as the TM. It came with a warning sticker on the receiver but is easy to take off. Dust cover is made of metal along with the charging handle.
The gun is very durable and the receiver and outer parts do not scratch easily.

Internals
To get to the gearbox remove one pin above the pistol grip. Stock this gun has a M120 spring in it. Mine I've had for a year and performs like the day I got it. Fps for mine was chronoed at 413fps with .2s. And that is too fast for most fields. With .25s it shot around 370+fps. The battery is an 8.4v 1500mah large type. Lasts long and gives the gun a great rate of fire. I want to say that the gun has an EG1000 equivalent motor (not sure on that). Hop-up gets the job done not incredible. I would suggest replacing if you want great range and accuracy. The inner barrel again gets the job done. Again I would suggest replacing it to get better accuracy. The shell of the gearbox I think is reinforced because my friend put a M130 spring in his and uses it on full auto with no problems at all. I haven't had any problems with mine. The wiring (I'm no electrician) is great. No problems with fuses or connections. The gearbox hasn't locked up on me. Every now and then on semi when the battery is dying it might full auto and then go back to semi (very rarely). Pulling the charging handle reveals the hop-up. The outer barrel is a 3-piece outer barrel. And turning the "delta ring" one way or another tightens the barrel so there is no wobble. Other way loosens the barrel so you can take it off.

Compatibility
This is fully compatible with all Tokyo Marui parts I'm positive on that.
I use a Classic Army M16 mag in it. Pretty sure most Classic Army parts are compatible also because my friend has scavenged parts off of his broken CA M15A4 gearbox and used them in his JG M16 gearbox.

Performance
Outstanding performance. Range is good stock (could have alot of potential with new hop-up and tightbore barrel). Super durable I've dove with it and its still in one piece. Stock you don't have to mess with anything. It’s probably one of the better aegs to come out of China. I wasn’t expecting much from JG but I was wrong. JG is a great company. I've had mine for about a year and it works perfectly and as I've mentioned it’s had no problems. Outranges many stock aegs. This gun will keep you in the game and be competitive. These shots were taken from 100ft using .2g bbs. There were little gusts of wind but mostly just a breeze.

Roles
CQB: NO, too long
Woodland: YES, real good in forests, desert, etc
Sniper: Not really, but with a tightbore, new hop-up, and a huge spring. Maybe
Scout: Yes, it would be fine its not really heavy
Support: Yes, with a 9.6v battery the rate of fire is nuts and range is ok
DMR: Could be with almost everything replaced

Suggested Upgrades/Mods
Get a scope they look cool. I got mine off of Shortyusa. As I've said a couple times new hop-up, tightbore barrel. 9.6v battery the stock one is fine but with a 9.6v it will rip. Check out airsoftgi for echo1 spr kits. They can be found right here. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2764
Get a Metal body they make it look cooler and a lot more realistic. I am very surprised that my gun has lasted so long without metal bushings. I highly suggest getting metal bushings. They will take off the stress off the gears and metal ones don’t break as much.

KWC Kien Well

Introduction:
◎Founded in 1978, being famous by manufacturing & marketing a series of miniature cars ( known as Matchbox car) into USA market, and so then created a large market share in Taiwan.

◎Implemented ERP system in 1984, to enable communication among the various functional entities of the enterprise and to facilitate coordination of functional entities for executing business process.

◎BB Gun developed and manufactured after 1984, technically supported by our strategic alliance in Japan as an OEM. Also being one of the original founders of Taiwan Toy Gun Association, and two times elected as the 1st & 2nd Chairman to campaign for legalization for the usage of BB Gun in Taiwan.

◎For BB Gun products, KWC brand created and registered in 1993, target marketing into the Europe, Japan, United States, and South-East Asia countries.

◎ISO 9002 approved in 1996, the first BB Gun manufacturer to be certified in Taiwan.。

◎Since 2003, the first counter-tradition BB gun operated by CO2 BLOWBACK, SW SIGMA SW40F had been published. This new idea product immediately surprised all circles. Not only lead the fashion and open the new mind but also make the same trade rush to follow this heat. The following DESERT EAGLE and MINI UZI even bring this CO2 FASHION to high. All of these CO2 model still sold very well all around the world. KWC will keep developing more technical and creative products from now on and never stop.

◎In 2007, the year of CO2 new generation. 100% replica of real pistol. There is no more longer magazine. Except enjoying shooting pratice and its high accuracy, it could even be the perfect collections on your wall. Keep your eye on KG46X, KG47X, and KG48ZX. And following model will come soon.

Company Services:

◎BB Gun manufacturing as well as researching & developing.

◎Repair and restore BB Guns.

◎Technical Support for distributors and customers.

Commitments:

◎Continuing to innovate so as to prolong the product life cycle and keep our company moving forward.

◎Quality consistent as the first priority and disregarding the cost, is what we have granted to the customers. Quick responded customer service to ensure the deal running smoothly.

Perspectives:

◎Most countries in the world have banned the usage of firearms for normal people, while BB Guns are usually luckilcategorized into the Toy Section. To offset the lack of real guns, people adopt BB pistol for purposes not only training and sport of shooting, but also gun collecting. This is a potential market segment to be further explored.

◎For the time being, our R&D group is concentrating on developing more CO2 BB Gun. One of the benefits is that they would not have the pressure drop problem, which is often occurred in the CO2 Guns while shooting many shots rapidly causes the boiling gas to reduce the temperature of the reservoir and thus lowers the pressure. The Guns will be better fired & marketed into countries with cooler temperature.

Tokyo Marui M.E.U. Pistol (1911)

One for 1911 lovers (or those who appreciate a nice gun) - the new Tokyo Marui M.E.U. pistol. As you can probably tell, it differs from your bog-standard 1911 government pistol, with a trouser-stirring appearance thanks to the stunning grip, trigger and novak grips. The detailing is as good as any other Marui gun and it will surely have thoroughly solid performance as per-usual for a Tokyo Marui gun.

Jing Gong just released their latest M4A1 AEG, now with “Metal Body”. The new AEG features a hardened gearbox housing and one piece metal barrel equipped with voltage stablizer electronic board. : RSOV.com

Jing Gong’s M4A1 was the best M4 AEG availabe at the time of its release late last year, and in some aspects it still is today. I’ve tried having mine as close to stock as possible for the last nine months and I am very satisfied for the cheap, cheap price I paid. Why no upgrades? Because it defeats the purpose of buying a cheap China-made gun, and low FPS means I can get up close and personal. *mwahaha*

Performance

As discussed in several other reviews, this rifle already shoots 360-380 FPS, the spring having around the same power of an SP110. Mine still shoots 360 +/-4 fps; pretty consistent considering the stock airseal nozzle doesn’t have an o-ring and the inner barrel isn’t tight-bore yet.

The plastic bushings are still holding up, so no need to replace them with metal ones yet. I think the plastic bushings also contribute to its fast rate-of-fire even on 8.4v mini-batteries due to less metal-on-metal friction, and if the shimming is too tight then the plastic just gives way.

Speaking of the batteries, the stock 8.4v 1100mah battery is a wonder. A full charge lasts at least 1,200 rounds. It still works fine, any other NiMh or LiPoly battery would’ve degraded by now. It’s charged using a BOL-01 instead of the included wall charger, mainly for the convenience of automatic cut-off, so I wouldn’t know how the stock charger performs.
Misfeeds

There was only one time when I needed to open up the gearbox, and it turns out there was no need to in the first place. I had misfeeds using both the stock hicap mag and G&P mags. I installed a sector chip but the misfeeding problems persist, until I put silicon oil into the magazine tubes. So don’t put a sector chip until after you’ve thoroughly checked your magazines.
Durability

The paint is easily stripped, it doesn’t even chip off, it just disappears. This might be good if you want the distressed look or planning to paint it anyway. The plastic handguard was damaged by a high-powered gun, which had no business in a low-power CQB site by the way. Other than that, everything is still fine: the plastic receiver’s “ears” are still intact and the outer barrel is still straight… even after I tripped on it.
Good buy or Good bye?

I’d still recommend the M4A1 due to the points I’ve mentioned:

* Great out-of-the-box performance
* Decent FPS
* Impressive rate-of-fire
* Even more impressive battery performance and runtime
* Considerably tough, even the plastic receiver

Comparing this to the recent releases of M4s offered by other ACM manufacturers, the only real shortcoming is its two-piece outer barrel. Other M4s already have one-piece barrels eliminating the barrel wobble and allowing the use of a sling attached to the front. Other than that, the JG M4 and its relatives are still very good buys.

Old School WELL M16A4

I had this old school rifle since I become a airsofter, this is my first rifle because in the movie this rifle always come up in every scene of war movie. This gun looks very good, although you can tell it's made of plastic.
Durability:
There are a few shakey parts; carrying handle, and stock, but other then that it's pretty durable.
Accuracy:
This is the area that really suprised me. It was accurate for a really long range, (will measure tomorrow, it's dark out right now) I could easily nail my brother from pretty far away. edit: accurate up to about 125 ft.
FPS:
I don't know how to test this, but it's 280 according to the manual
There is a switch to switch it to Safe mode, that works really well.
The cocking handle is fairly easy to pull back.
Feel:
This gun feels pretty good. Good weight. Heavy enough not to be like 'this is so light it's ghey' but not too heavy to carry.

Magazine: Mag holds 19 bullets ready to shoot, but has a resivoir that holds about 200. All you have to do to reload is pull down the spring and shake BBs into mag.
Mag fits very easily into gun and does not fall out.

Women and Airsoft Gun

We are often asked if airsoft is just a guy's sport. While the majority of airsoft players are men, it is definitely a sport women and girls can enjoy. It's easy to quickly dismiss airsoft as violent or dangerous, but that isn't true. Airsoft teaches women planning, strategy, skill, patience, and a reliance on your teammates like no other sport out there. Additionally, the safety equipment required for airsoft makes it very safe, and airsoft BB hits are less painful than paintball. Many women who participate in this sport realize that it's great for both sexes. In fact, many of the women airsoft players surprise their male opponents as women tend to be more agile and stealthy than men; a serious advantage in airsoft skirmishes.

Many women who don't understand airsoft assume that it's some kind of violent battle between two teams that are just trying to blast each other with plastic BBs, but this isn't true at all. Whether it is men or women playing airsoft, most games are played around a scenario or objective that needs to be met. Careful planning is necessary amongst team members to capture a flag or objective without being shot or captured. All the while avoiding airsoft traps, ambushes, snipers, etc. Strategy and teamwork are of utmost importance as you work to move your team forward, or to set up someone from an opposing team. Many teams competing together week after week build solid communications and pull together as one unit. In this way, airsoft will teach that you are a valued member of a team. This type of camaraderie builds self-esteem and confidence.

Another benefit of Airsoft for women, is the development of true athleticism and physical endurance. Airsoft players will run, jump, duck, and whatever is necessary to outmaneuver the opponent. It's a great way to get physical exercise as opposed to running on a treadmill in the gym. Airsoft will work muscles you never knew you had. Airsoft will get you into shape quickly! This side of the airsoft skirmish appeals too many of its players, women and men alike.
